@ICARUS12x@summerbmmer@jfsksjfk The “wonderful” year of 2017, when Jean set a child on fire, rejected her daughter for the second time, and Scott was called Hitler while the Inhumans were poisoning mutants with Terrigen. That 2017 portrayed the characters so “well” that Marvel completely ignores it.

@lourdemma By the way, I didn’t see a single hateful comment toward Jean from Emma fans when Jean and Scott’s duo emote was shown. But the moment flirting between Emma and Scott appeared, a bunch of misogynistic clowns started hating on Emma.

@lourdemma Just recently, Jean fans threw a tantrum because Emma was shown for two seconds in the X-Men ’97 trailer, since they’re afraid that without DeMayo, they might start building toward an Emma and Scott romance. So it’s no surprise they started crying over Rivals too.

@OzymandiasWorX We should remind the haters of this Logan moment when they start blaming Emma for things she did under the influence of the Phoenix or Casandra Nova.Because by their logic,Logan was basically an immoral villain for most of his life, who killed no fewer innocent people than Magneto

@frostrayner Yes, I already wrote about this. Emma and Scott’s dialogue in Rivals fully matches the Krakoa era. They are not together, but there is chemistry, flirting, and trust between them. NetEase did a great job and, as I said before, portrayed Emma’s personality beautifully.

@mkaebabe@summerbmmer@suuonoo@comfortrogue But apparently, you’re fine with the period when Marvel pushed the Inhumans and distorted mutant characters. I guess you’re fine with “Scott was Hitler,”Jean setting a child on fire and rejecting Rachel, and Ororo being Medusa’s pawn—though it’s obvious Marvel ignores that period

@mkaebabe@summerbmmer@suuonoo@comfortrogue If you’re incapable of grasping what an editorial mistake and unofficial non-canon are, that’s your problem. Even Kamala forgot about the harm from Terrigen, despite being in IVX, and Xavier only mentions Rogue’s illness, not the hundreds of mutant deaths before IVX.
