Lipscomb Baseball has announced the addition of Desi Ammons as the program’s new Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

A proven winner and one of the top young coaches in junior college baseball, Ammons arrives after leading Columbia State to one of the nation’s premier offensive programs while earning TCCAA Coach of the Year honors. His reputation for developing hitters, building championship caliber cultures, and identifying elite talent has made him one of the most respected coaches in the region.

As Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Ammons will play a major role in developing the Bison offense while leading the program’s recruiting efforts as Lipscomb continues to compete for ASUN championships and NCAA Regional appearances.
