Much discussion yesterday about the creation of the media rights pool, not much discussion on what joining the pool requires schools and conferences to do, so here it is:
As we share our final message with the NDSU community, we want to simply say thank you. These past few years have meant more to us than we can put into words. Serving as NDSU president has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and that's because of the people who make this place what it is.
We've felt your support every step of the way, and we're so proud of the progress made together. The foundation at NDSU is strong, the future is bright, and we'll always be cheering for you. Once a Bison, always a Bison.
Go Bison!
I am very excited, as a student/fan, to be able to tailgate starting at 12 cst and then go to the game at 4:30pm Week 1.
I just think it’s a lot better experience wise
I think for fan experience wise - later games will be a lot better for a tailgate crowd, no one wants to get up at the crack of dawn all the time to go tailgate. Although, Bison Nation is pretty good at that
Today is my first official day as president of North Dakota State University, and I am honored to join this community alongside my wife, Jan.
Over the past several months, I've had the opportunity to listen, learn and engage with students, faculty, staff, cabinet, alumni, donors, state leaders and citizens across North Dakota. In the months ahead, I will continue meeting with people across campus and across the state.
I am confident in this university and in the people who make it what it is. There is strong purpose here. There is pride. And there is opportunity.
Thank you for welcoming me. I'm ready to get started, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
Go Bison!
