You can read a person's inner life before they say a single word.
Modern psychology studies behavior, brain chemistry, trauma, and reactions -
but as Dr Steiner warned, it lost the soul itself.
He called it:
“the study of the soul without the soul.”
For Steiner, true knowledge doesn't begin with nature.
It begins with inner observation.
This is why Socrates’ “Know thyself” wasn't philosophy to him -
it was the first step of initiation.
The soul is the gateway between body and spirit:
- the body anchors us in the physical world
- the spirit opens you to the supersensible
- the soul is the living field where both worlds meet
Most people never distinguish these layers.
They confuse:
instinct with identity
emotion with truth
mental chatter with thinking
Soul observation begins when you can perceive:
what in you belongs to the body
what belongs to the soul
what belongs to the spirit
But Steiner says this is difficult.
You can't isolate a feeling in laboratory conditions.
You can't repeat an inner experience identically.
And the moment you observe a thought or emotion, the observation changes it.
This is why ordinary science collapses at the threshold of consciousness.
A different method is needed:
quiet, exact, disciplined inner observation.
Steiner compares it to reading.
Letters appear meaningless until consciousness grasps the meaning living behind them.
Likewise, inner experiences only reveal spiritual reality when observed with calmness, moral clarity, and self-honesty.
Most people fail here.
Untrained inner observation produces:
visions, emotional intoxication,
psychic distortions mistaken for spirituality
Real spiritual perception is not sensational.
It is sober, precise, morally grounded.
Through correct soul observation you begin to perceive:
the activity behind thinking
the movements within feeling
the hidden impulses beneath willing
And the soul differentiates itself.
Steiner describes three layers:
The Sentient Soul — impulses, attractions, aversions
The Intellectual Soul — judgments, concepts, opinions
The Consciousness Soul — the faculty that perceives truth and spirit directly
Spiritual development begins when the consciousness soul awakens.
From there, soul observation becomes the foundation for higher perception itself:
Imagination — living soul-pictures
Inspiration — the beings behind them
Intuition — direct participation in spiritual reality
A disciplined transformation of consciousness itself.
Most people will never attempt this work; which is exactly why their inner life controls them.
Water is the realm right before manifestation and the realm right after manifestation .
Like a word about to be spoken
It’s where imagination which creates the next creations lives
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING STAGNANT
If you are not ACTIVELY GETTING BETTER, it's not like you occupy some neutral zone... you are getting worse.
You need to be actively defying entropy.
Father Time will eventually claim us all.
Get something from him first.
On the human body, Taurus corresponds with the neck and shoulders. Serving as a pillar for the head, the neck supports and stabilizes our most vital appendage. As the fixed sign of earth, Taurus is known for its stability.
With a yoke around its powerful neck and shoulders oxen can pull heavy loads or a plough. As humans, we carry weight, both literal and symbolic, on our shoulders. In Greek mythology, Atlas was said to carry the weight of the heavens, acting as a living pillar for the sky. Fittingly, his seven daughters became the seven stars of the Pleiades, an asterism located within the constellation Taurus.
Taurus also aligns with The Hierophant card, often described as a “bridge builder” between heaven and earth. I find this interesting given that the neck also functions as a “bridge”, connecting the head to its body. You’ll also notice that many classic Hierophant cards subtly emphasize or obscure the neck. As the “Keeper of Secrets", this is fitting given the throat’s connection to speech, silence and sacred knowledge.
Neil Kramer :: political correctness is there to silence dissent and coerce consent
That is to stop people expressing their feelings about others and the way they choose to live and to compel people to adopt a new way of thinking about each other :: what’s okay and what’s not okay
Empire = imperial
Imp :: small evil spirit
Taxes in French = impôts
All ruled by an evil spirit
Put imp before any word and it degrades it:: eg improper, impatient, impulsive, impotence…
Leave the empire or be forever controlled by a little evil spirit
