The audacity of this official from @bidhannagarpc is beyond shocking.

Last night, young boys & girls from @ArenaMariners went to the @IndSuperLeague match of @mohunbagansg at Salt Lake Stadium carrying a Tifo of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee a proud tribute to Bengal’s son and Sanatani icon.

Instead of respecting their democratic and cultural expression, this on duty cop allegedly hurled abuses at them and forcibly stopped the TIFO from being displayed, as if Bengal is still under some Jihadi regime where Hindus cannot proudly celebrate their roots and icons.

Is paying tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee still a crime in Bengal?

An Immediate enquiry and Strictest action must be taken against this cop.
