@The15Dragon Regardless I think less banking on the character being 1:1 and it feeling like fanfic sequels and more like alternate interpretations if that makes sense (Twitter nuance is annoying). Lots of ways to handle it but none that hit the same as a fleshed out universe of it its own.

@The15Dragon Dissidia Duodecim did have fun with its characters crossing over but again I think having the original incarnations be the main selling point is the problem. Let them have characteristics or design similarities or something but let people have fun with it like "Durante" in XIV

@djxnzi @Shock_and_Roll Sometimes that earlier "edge" and "humor" is misinterpreted as malice due to the real world USING those things maliciously too, but I still think it usually came off as a place of ignorance or putting them as a butt of a joke vs being open minded. Could be wrong though.

@djxnzi @Shock_and_Roll I don't know enough about the Atlus inner workings (I usually just enjoy the Persona games and Metaphor) so that's a bit of a blind spot for me but it sounds adjacent to the beach scene from P3 if that's the case where there was one dude with an axe to grind maybe lol

Finished Wuthering Waves Chapter 1 Act 7: Thaw of Eons

The new location made me so melancholic. It is just so so beautiful. I love Jinshi. She's a fantastic character. Changli has the most fun game play ever. Very good worldbuilding. Wonderful arc.
