Wrapped up 8 weeks of CTU yesterday with this incredible team (although missing a few important faces).
Huge shout out to Dr. Ed Etchells and the rest of @GIMtoronto staff at Sunnybrook for their teaching and mentorship! 🩺
The crisis in Ukrainian is incredibly heartbreaking. 9 medical schools in the country have officially partnered with Canadian Medical Students Aid for Ukraine to date to help raise funds.

Our second-year @uOttawa medical student Bita Azad has
started a fundraising campaign, through the @redcrosscanada, to help Ukraine residents. Under the banner #MedAid4Ukraine, Azad is urging med students, and anyone else, to contribute help.

I find it so interesting that prior to being exposed to events like the @CFMSFEMC AGM, medical students may not be aware of so many important differences that exist between medical education curricula/experiences across the country. This #CFMSAGM2020 has been eye-opening!
Having an enjoyable experience at my first Canadian Federation of Medical Students Annual General Meeting as a uOttawa student delegate. Great to see so much passion for facilitating national change from my fellow colleagues across the country! #CFMSAGM2020#ForwardTogetherCFMS
Thank you so much to everyone who worked so hard to facilitate the @book2bedside conference! What a fantastic way to start my medical education. And thank you for awarding me the social media award! Great ending to a great event.
With the absence of preclerkship elective opportunities due to the pandemic, the preclerkship workshop has been so useful to ease some anxieties about the transition to clerkship for many students @book2bedside !
Was able to work through some fun fever and LOC cases with Dr. Lupo in my third workshop at #book2bedside. What a great way for an MS1 to be introduced to problem-based learning in internal medicine! @book2bedside
Dr. Bram Rochwerg just gave a very informative talk regarding his experience at the frontline of this pandemic, how COVID is being treated, and the research being conducted. Stay safe! @book2bedside
Just had a wonderful workshop with Dr. Jhonna Collins about bugs and drugs! Turns out we both recieved our MSc. in @deheinrichs lab! Small world. @book2bedside#book2bedside
Sitting in on this Approach to Toxicology workshop is very exciting as an MS1. Cool to know we can learn so much by the time we become clerks! @book2bedside#book2bedside
It's very interesting and impressive to see how McMaster's Internal Medicine residency program has adapted to the current pandemic! #book2bedside@book2bedside
Really enjoyed learning about single oral-dose anti-arrythmic drugs for cardioversion of recent-onset atrial fibrillation episodes from Dr. Omar Ibrahim @book2bedside! #book2bedside
