More than 80% of all goods traded in the world are transported by ship. Iron ore, coal, grain. On the dry-bulk side, it’s all just infrastructure.

Ethra has actually owned and operated these vessels since 2021 through real SPVs, commercial management, technical oversight, the whole thing. @EthraShip is built on that operational base. The SHIP token is simply the digital layer of coordination.

Governance, stake, ecosystem access. It has no impact on vessel ownership or cashflows. They stay in the separate regulated RWA cars. It’s like a deliberate separation. On one side you have real ships, real chartering revenue.

The other side offers the community a transparent way to participate in the development of the broader ecosystem. It’s not often you see a project with four years of real fleet work behind it before the digital door opens.

Didn't expect my first post about @CNPYNetwork to get that much love. Really appreciate everyone who shared their thoughts and pointed me toward things I would've probably missed.

One idea keeps sticking with me though. Canopy isn't trying to convince every project to share the same chain forever. The more I think about it, the more I understand why having infrastructure that grows with your own project makes sense, especially if AI keeps making it easier to build new applications.

Still early in my learning process, but I'm definitely enjoying the rabbit hole so far.

Been seeing @CNPYNetwork pop up on my timeline a lot recently, and I finally decided to stop scrolling and see what everyone's been talking about.

Still connecting the dots, but I like projects that make people talk about how things are built instead of just throwing bigger numbers around. Feels like there's a pretty thoughtful community here too, which honestly matters just as much.

I'm still early, so if you've been following Canopy for a while, what made you stick around? Curious to hear different perspectives and learn along the way.

One thing I like about @EthraShip is they don’t pretend blockchain invented shipping.

Web3 has not created global trade, the maritime industry has been moving global trade long before Web3 was created.

What blockchain can do is make it easier to participate in that industry. That's a much more realistic scenario.

This project feels different probably because of the experience behind @ETHRAINVEST. What you see here is not an idea looking for a business model.

You are looking at an existing business, and trying to figure out what blockchain can actually improve. I think that’s where the RWAs get interesting.Not when we’re tokenizing random assets....

but when the established industries begin to open up to a whole new audience. It feels like we're still very early.
