Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal...same thing.
Products i use/d. Services i understand, brands i saw operating in real life before ever looking at a chart. The funny part is that many people reading this have also used these products for years. They booked the stays, wore the shoes, watched the shows, bought the iPhones, paid through the apps, ordered from the platforms, lived inside the ecosystem.
But when it came to investing, they ignored what was right in front of them and let bad actors with cartoon profile pictures teach them money management. They bought micro cap coins they never used. Projects they never understood. Narratives they never verified. Promises from people with no real track record.
Years ago, someone very successful in investing gave me a simple piece of advice: "If you use it, understand it, and it is listed on the stock market, study how whales move in the markets and find the best levels to buy and sell"
That advice changed how i looked at markets. The gullible mind keeps chasing mystery while ignoring familiarity. They will put money into something they have never touched, never tested, never needed, and never understood, while refusing to even consider the globally established businesses they use every week.
Familiar feels obvious, and obvious feels too late. That is how retail gets trapped. They ignore the companies solving real problems in their own lives, then gamble on stories designed to solve nothing except the seller's exit liquidity problem.
Sometimes the best investment research does not start in a Telegram group. It starts by looking at your own life and asking: "What do i keep using, and who owns it?"
Find the answers, alongside understanding when whales buy and sell. As time goes on, you'll be winning.
