@winstonpeters@notoaotearoa Instead of buying it back, just scale heavily into growing KB. Make the Aussie backs compete vigorously, rather than giving them a free exit. New money should be for growth not exiting shareholders.
@great_martis Except they didnโt have full access to a money printer from 1950-1970. The whole crash business makes sense in the real world but we live in a nominal world. it could still crash but wonโt look like this period.
What rubbish he doth speak. Just like department stores components will be picked off. There is so much regulation because of the lack of transparency and problems they caused over the years. The. Along came the government adding to the regulations as the banks were the gate keepers. Let go, itโs over.
My favourite company at the moment is $IREN. Great team, great projects, great timing. Would like to get an even bigger position.
Company has great opportunities for scaling. The Microsoft deal shows what is possible in the future.
What's a realistic value (undiscounted) of the Microsoft deal for $IREN. Just high level, closest US$B would be nice. Here's my back of the envelope estimate:
Might be some residual value from non-GPU capex spend to add back?
Current IREN market cap is $14B.
Current market value includes BTC mining rundown, generation contracts, BC AI contracts and value from future development options at Sweetwater, Childress and now Oklahoma.
@grok what's your estimate of the Microsoft deal for $IREN?
I struggle with this chart as the log x axis makes the current period seem like a local peak. I could be wrong as I wasnโt there, but millions of years ago we are just seeing an average over long periods when there could have been Inter century or inter millennium volatility. Not saying we donโt have rising cO2, just the chart. In the current period as we measuring co2 in the air whereas before it was stored co2?
So strange, the interest accrues to the publishes of the stable coins rather than the holder of the coin, thus birthing the most profitable companies in the world for taking zero risk, way more profitable than existing banks on a risk basis. Maybe the banks want this so they can make their own stable coins and make even more profit?
@StockMKTNewz@fiscal_ai Still donโt see long term future for this company. If the design step is being automated and AI can mock up working draft sites on the fly, why would you need a step in the middle with human interference. Someone closer to this please help me understand?
