@liverbird17 Because there is more to education than the rigour of classroom life. Besides I can adequately help my son catch up with English, Irish and Maths
In June 2020 Shabana Mahmood tweeted that she shared constituents' anger at George Floyd's murder, called it an unspeakable outrage, and posted with . She referred to protests across the United States and expressed solidarity with that sentiment. No public statement from her at the time condemned the protests or any associated riots.
Had a bizarre experience last night.
I was in a bar talking to a group of gays and lesbians in the smoking area. Nothing political, just having a laugh.
One of them disappears for a few minutes and comes back grilling me. Fascist. Racist. All sorts of mad accusations.
I asked him what he was even talking about.
Turns out a girl I used to be mates with years ago had pulled him aside and warned him not to speak to me because I’m apparently “worse than Hitler”.
Imagine being so detached from reality that you’d describe a gay man as “worse than Hitler” because he holds gender critical views and has criticised, key word, government migration policy.
Not a word said to my face. No attempt at a conversation.
Just character assassination.
The ironic part is that once I actually explained what I believe, which I shouldn’t have to do in the first place, some of the people standing there agreed with me.
This is what happens when people spend too much time inside ideological bubbles. They convince themselves that anyone who steps outside the approved script must be some kind of extremist.
What bothers me most is that this kind of behaviour actively makes people less willing to speak honestly. It turns political disagreement into something sinister and treats ordinary people as if they’re evil for holding views that in many cases, are completely mainstream.
There’s also the fact that accusations like this put normal people like me in danger.
I’m a person outside of politics.
I should be able to go for a drink and talk shite with strangers without somebody trying to blacklist me over things I’ve never said and beliefs I don’t even hold.
Ireland's most-read newspaper, The Sunday Independent, dedicates nearly a full page to 'The Story of Yves' but nothing about the murdered Irishman Alex Coughlan.
It also has an opinion piece by Colin Murphy, in which he finds it 'exciting' that Irish people are becoming a minority in certain parts of Dublin.
All propaganda to keep the Irish on board with the mass immigration agenda.
Credit to whoever made this 👇
We need independent media now more than ever.
In print, radio, TV and online.
There should be more collaboration between the big online Irish voices.
Even just a message or 2 per week to discuss narrative and information sharing.
We need to combat government funded propaganda of MSM and fight back against the blatant racism against white Irish lives.
Some native European dude
in the middle of Dublin, just casually
waving a Hezbollah terrorist flag like
it’s totally normal.
Welcome to the new Europe, everyone
WTF 😂😂
A Gay Man who marries a Woman in 2004 is not some down trodden hero with a coming out hero journey . . .
2004 was not the middle ages
He is a Liar that stole over 2 decades from a Woman who deserved better.
@MykeVw@EoinLenihan We need context here? If he's referring to the perpetrators of the Pakistani rape gangs in Rotheram, Oldham and places, I dont see the problem either. I support the death penalty for such crimes, as is common place in other countries
@brianmlucey Who do you work for? Is it in your career interests to toe the party line? Not rock the Establishment. Therefore your opinion must we weighted against that
🏦 Even with interest, a normal UK bank account lost £800 in purchasing power over 4 years.
Bitcoin DCA with the exact same £100/week is now worth ~£45,000.
£21,870 vs £45,000. Same money.
Wildly different results. 🚀 Cash is quietly dying. 💸

This is El Salvador at night.
Fireworks, families walking around and kids playing.
In Spain this is unthinkable of.
Maybe locking up the criminals does work.
@grannies4equal What prejudice. Stop playing woke DEI nonsense. If somebody is incompetent at something they are incompetent. Regardless of colour, creed, religious belief etc. Sick of this woke shite
