The sons of former Pakistan PM Imran Khan have spoken to Al Jazeera about their father’s worsening health in prison. Kasim and Suleiman Khan are demanding authorities allow access to independent medical treatment.
I join @Athersmike in demanding that @Kasim_Khan_1999 be granted access to proper medical care and his family.
It is time the @commonwealthsec acted boldly in this regard.
I hope that people like @HelenClarkNZ will add their voices to this demand.
Adding my support here to GC and the other former international captains. I hope the court ordered medical assessment be allowed to run its course, and that family visits continue. I hope Imran Khan is treated with the dignity anyone deserves
Under Article 2.4 of the @ICC constitution government interference in a country’s cricket administration is prohibited… YET PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan’s Minister of the Interior, is said to be behind a threat by Pakistan to abandon the Test

Michael Atherton, no words can truly express our gratitude for standing up for Imran Khan, especially when even many of his own have chosen silence. Your courage means a great deal. Pakistan owes you one.
