🌸 Introducing BitFan & Prometheon

Today, we’re finally ready to introduce what we’ve been building.

BitFan

BitFan is being built as the social, discovery, and distribution layer for Bittensor.

Bittensor is rapidly becoming much more than a collection of subnets. It is becoming an ecosystem of intelligence, products, builders, researchers, communities, investors, and entirely new digital markets.
But today, discovering and participating in that ecosystem is still fragmented across X, Discord, GitHub, individual websites, dashboards, and countless separate communities.

BitFan is being built to change that.

Our long-term goal is to create a place where people can discover, follow, understand, discuss, and participate in the entire Bittensor ecosystem from one platform.

On BitFan:

• Subnets will have their own presence
• Communities will form around them
• Builders will introduce products, launches, and updates
• Users will discover new AI intelligence, services, and applications
• People will follow and support the projects they believe in
• Communities will create content, discussions, events, and markets around the ecosystem

And this is only the beginning.
We don’t want BitFan to become another subnet directory.
We want it to become one of the places where the world actually experiences Bittensor.
Our goal is to help more people discover Bittensor, understand why decentralized intelligence matters, find the products being created here, and participate directly in the ecosystem.
As Bittensor grows, we want its subnets, miners, validators, builders, researchers, and contributors to have a stronger path to grow with it.

BitFan is being built to connect Bittensor intelligence with the world.

Prometheon

Alongside BitFan, we are building Prometheon - a Bittensor subnet focused on continuously improving AI moderation intelligence.
Prometheon creates a competitive environment where miners develop better moderation intelligence.
That intelligence may take different forms: models, agents, classifiers, reasoning systems, or other AI systems.

The objective is simple: produce increasingly capable intelligence for detecting and understanding problems such as:

• Spam
• Scams and phishing
• Impersonation
• Malicious links
• Harassment and abuse
• Coordinated manipulation
• Multilingual harmful content
• New and emerging forms of platform abuse

Miners compete to create the intelligence.
Validators evaluate competing intelligence against hidden, adversarial, and continuously evolving moderation challenges.
Prometheon identifies which intelligence performs best.

Real products and businesses can then put that intelligence to work.

Prometheon will become an important trust and safety intelligence layer for BitFan, but it is not being built only for BitFan.
Our ambition is for Prometheon to eventually serve social platforms, communities, marketplaces, gaming ecosystems, communication products, and other businesses that need scalable AI moderation.
And we are already starting to explore that path.

🤝 Commercial Collaboration

We are currently in discussions with a company regarding a potential collaboration around Prometheon.
The company already has access to a significant existing market, and we are discussing how Prometheon’s moderation intelligence could be introduced into that environment.
This could mean providing Prometheon-powered moderation directly to the company, or deploying the technology into the broader market and customer network they already serve.
Nothing is finalized yet, so we are not announcing a partnership today.

But the direction matters.

We do not want to build a subnet whose intelligence exists only inside Bittensor.

We want to create a real economic loop:

Bittensor competition
→ Better intelligence
→ Real products and businesses
→ Real users
→ Real commercial demand
→ Value flowing back into the Bittensor ecosystem

That is the bigger vision behind what we are building.
BitFan is about bringing Bittensor to the world.
Prometheon is about turning Bittensor competition into intelligence that the world can actually use.

And ultimately, we want more people around the world to understand Bittensor, experience its advantages, and help accelerate its success - while creating more opportunities for the subnets and contributors building alongside it to succeed as well.

We’ve been building quietly.
Now it’s time to start showing what comes next.

The foundation is simple:

High-quality AI models require high-quality data and evaluation.

Our role is to build the market pathway and business ecosystem. The role of miners is to create the best possible models and datasets that can compete in this new market.
