BitFan

The social and service discovery layer for Bittensor. Discover subnets, join communities, and follow the ecosystem.

[BitFan @BitFanNetwork]

We recently launched the BitFan Platform and Prometheon Subnet (SN108), and both are now officially up and running.

Both projects are built around very ambitious long-term plans, but we are still at a very early stage.
In particular, there is still a great deal that needs to be built and improved on the BitFan Platform.

Our first priority is to rapidly grow BitFan into a social platform dedicated to the Bittensor ecosystem.
To support that goal, we are already using the incentive mechanism of Prometheon Subnet to attract and onboard a significant number of users.

However, our goal is not simply to bring in users who join only for incentives. We want to build a real user base - people who have a genuine reason to visit BitFan every day, participate, explore, and engage with the ecosystem.

As the first step toward that goal, we are planning to activate the prediction markets for Bittensor-related events that already exist on the BitFan Platform.

Every new user who joins BitFan currently receives 10,000 free credits that can be used on the Market Page.

This week, we will run the Market Page on a trial basis and closely monitor how users interact with it.
Starting next week, we plan to introduce official weekly rewards.

Each week, the Top 3 traders will receive a share of 5% of our owner emission, distributed as follows:

1st place - 3%
2nd place - 1.5%
3rd place - 0.5%

The rewards may be relatively small at the beginning, but we believe they will be enough to create meaningful excitement and encourage regular participation among users.

At the same time, we would also like to invite Bittensor subnet owners to register their own accounts on BitFan, manage their pages, and publish important news and updates related to their subnets.

Whenever a subnet owner requests it, our team is also willing to develop and integrate a free interactive demo of their subnet's product directly into the BitFan Platform.

Depending on the product, we expect these integrations to take anywhere from a few days to few weeks.

Through these demos, BitFan users will be able to experience a subnet's product directly, share their opinions and feedback, and then visit the subnet's official website to learn more.

If you are a subnet owner interested in launching a demo of your product on BitFan, please feel free to contact us at any time through our X account or through the Prometheon Subnet owner account on the Bittensor Discord server.

Our vision goes beyond serving only the people who are already passionate about Bittensor.

We sincerely hope that even people who do not yet know Bittensor will begin following its development, watching the events taking place across the ecosystem, and discovering their own excitement, passion, and curiosity through them.

We welcome more users, more participation, and continuous partnerships across the ecosystem.

With our shared love for Bittensor, let's build and complete the BitFan Platform together.

The question is not whether open source AI can be shut down.

It is whether the funding for OSS AI can be shut down.

All OSS models, Meta, DeepSeek, Mistral are just arms of fiat funded corporations or the state itself.

The ML community has yet to swallow this pill. They will.

The Bittensor ecosystem has arrived on @RobinhoodCrypto Chain 🪶

Robinhood brings 27M+ users, billions in weekly DEX volume and the largest retail gateway in finance - all on a single L2.

@opentensor brings a decentralized AI infrastructure across compute, coding, vision, and prediction.

@Chainlink CCIP, once again, is the pillar that connects them both.

No one has expanded Bittensor across more chains than ForeverMoney. And we ain't stopping here.

[BitFan @BitFanNetwork]

The goal of BitFan is to make the Bittensor network more accessible to users and to help accelerate Bittensor’s success by promoting the services offered by Bittensor and its subnets to a much wider audience.

I believe there is a lot of room for us to collaborate toward that goal.

This first-person shooter was built from a single prompt, using 404-generated 3D assets.

On the latest Novelty Search, @404gen_ explains how SN17 is moving from Titan, its open image-to-3D model built with miners, toward 3D assets generated as code that AI agents can edit and use directly in games.

That work is part of a broader direction for 404: building world models where AI agents can learn and act.

Prediction Market on BitFan

We are planning to begin our efforts to activate the BitFan platform by first successfully operating a Bittensor-oriented event prediction market.

Currently, you can visit https://t.co/VP7959QlD2 to explore its features. There, users can propose the creation of markets, and they can also participate in trading on prediction markets created by the platform operation team and others.

At the beginning, users will be able to conduct trading using the 10,000 free credits provided upon registration. Once we determine that a sufficient level of trader participation and capability has been established, we will officially launch a weekly trading tournament.

In this tournament, the top three traders with top P&L selected each week will receive a share of the subnet owner alpha: 3%, 1.5%, and 0.5%, respectively. Although this is a very small amount, we believe it is sufficient to encourage participation and help build an initial community of traders while we conduct testing.

Once the platform gains a certain level of activity and momentum, we will officially begin operating a real prediction market using sn108's alpha token.

The types of markets can include anything related to Bittensor, such as TAO price movements, subnet prices, emissions, chain upgrades, the number of Twitter posts by specific individuals, and many other possibilities.

Join us on our first journey to create a world of passion and excitement around Bittensor! The operation of the Prediction Market is only a very small beginning.

Many updates and developments beyond imagination are waiting for you in the future.

Become one of the first members to enter this world of passion and innovation!

We encourage you to share any valuable feedback regarding the operation and improvement of the platform in our Telegram channel. https://t.co/TJT5dbsCM3

Which update in this week’s ecosystem highlights deserves a deeper page, not just a passing mention?

[BitFan @BitFanNetwork]

Every week, Bittensor produces more real products, benchmarks, and breakthroughs.

The problem is no longer whether the ecosystem is building.

It is whether people can discover, understand, and follow what is being built.

That is why we are building BitFan.

Subnets should not live as names in a table.

They should be products people can discover, understand, follow, and join.

A first look at BitFan.

Where Bittensor becomes services people can actually use.

Bittensor has intelligence, markets, builders and communities.

But discovering what the ecosystem actually builds still means jumping between feeds, chats, dashboards and disconnected pages.
