Incentivizing intelligence

Introducing eTAO: a new system giving subnets control over their alpha emission split.

Subnet owners can now decide how much goes to miners, validators, and themselves, based on the specific needs of their subnet.

We just killed cold outreach.

Introducing Leadpoet: the AI sales agent that finds buyers who need you now, writes personalized outreach, and follows up on LinkedIn and email.

Used by Dropbox, OnePatch (YC26), Muttdata.

Comment “Poet” for 100 free lead credits to find qualified buyers.

[Openτensor Foundaτion @opentensor]

eTAO doesn't change how much alpha a subnet receives. Existing subnets also keep their current split until their owners choose to change it.

But for the first time, subnet owners can shape their reward structure around the specific needs of their subnet.

This gives builders far more freedom to design incentives for different use cases across Bittensor.

Targon's new GPU capacity is being booked by enterprise customers within a day, often under year-long contracts.

On the latest Novelty Search, @TargonCompute explains how Subnet 4 is building a confidential AI cloud that protects models and data even on third-party hardware.

The team also unveiled a public revenue dashboard, with bare-metal servers, virtual machines and AI-agent sandboxes already available, and more cloud services on the roadmap.

Introducing DecisionModels @decisionmodels_

I've spent the last four weeks benchmarking decision models (I run JevBench).

Today I'm launching the place to actually use the best ones:

https://t.co/uLqryOaB5Y

➡️Top open models
➡️Up to 4x faster on our own REAX engine
➡️From $0.019 per 1M input tokens.

Expect more reveals soon, and read 👇

Bittensor recently released Null Consensus, a major protocol update expanding subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants.

It introduces a new way to determine miner rewards, giving subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus.

[Openτensor Foundaτion @opentensor]

The update also introduces optional proof-of-work registration, allowing miners to join subnets without spending TAO upfront.

Instead of paying a registration fee in TAO, they can solve a computational challenge using their hardware.

This opens the door for more miners, including autonomous AI agents, to join Bittensor using compute alone.
