$XRP analyst James Dula says new lending infrastructure on the XRP Ledger could eventually let holders borrow against their XRP without selling it.
He also believes they could earn yield on unused XRP to help offset borrowing costs.
In a post on X, Dula linked several recent developments. These include Coinbaseโs XRP-backed loans, government-backed crypto mortgage structures, and proposed XRP Ledger lending features. He argued that together they could create a new financial model for long-term XRP holders. #Ripple

$XRP gains as whales accumulate while retail traders remain cautious.
CryptoQuant data showed the All CEX Whale vs Retail Spread at 50.9 percent, with Binance's measure at 44.6 percent. That points to stronger large holder activity even as retail participation stayed muted.
XRP rose 1.5% to USD 1.05 during the 24 hour session on July 2, as of writing. The move came alongside a sharp intraday volume spike and the strongest new wallet growth in three months.
