@Sl33pyThingg@sillysnapdragon@Archi_Tech343@Kodaliras It’s ironic really because a small vocal minority, a part I’m assuming your in, throws accusations at everyone who disagrees with them. That’s the main problem in the transgender community that offputs so many people
@sillysnapdragon@Archi_Tech343@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras ??? No I just think purposefully hiding important things like that is still disingenuous. You have to think about the partner as well, they might not be comfortable with having a sexual act with someone with gender surgery. Or they might be ok with it, but not hiding it.
@sillysnapdragon@Archi_Tech343@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras Why are the non binary’s catching strays now what did we do
I mean in the context of an intimate sexual encounter, purposefully hiding something that big feels kinda scummy, specifically when using words like “stealth” it can feel disingenuous
@_c4ss1dy_@Kodaliras It’s wrong to police people’s preferences in general, I personally don’t like big surgeries like that but I don’t care if other people get surgeries. It’s mostly a right to know so intercourse isn’t done under a false pretense
@f3ck13ss@Wojciec26905941@sepphierose I understand transition stuff can be expensive but you aren’t entitled to it by healthcare just because you want it
That’s not how the world works
@f3ck13ss@Wojciec26905941@sepphierose Well yes because I wanted to understand where you were coming from and it’s a tribalistic “they don’t agree with me!” Instead of a genuine view
Also that’s just… wrong??? Therapy exists. Healthcare covers things that could be life threatening.
@Archi_Tech343@sillysnapdragon@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras It almost certainly can. I still tell people my birth gender because I’m not ashamed of it and there’s really no harm in it. It’s much harder to hide my original identity than to just be honest and say “yeah that’s what I was born as but neither a boy or girl feel right”
@f3ck13ss@Wojciec26905941@sepphierose Healthcare is for things your body quite literally needs to survive
Sex-change surgery and hormonals are wants, not needs
@americanidiot86@Kodaliras It still feels odd to intentionally hide things from people that you would engage in sexual acts with and a potential romantic partner. It feels kind of disingenuous
@teamupwcharlie@sillysnapdragon@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras It still feels disingenuous to intentionally hide and “lock away” something people might not like. It’s not hard to be transparent with people and just say “hey this is who I am”
@xxvoidstar@peachdreamer0@Kodaliras@GenericExcept Because the situation was built up on the pretense that said person was a cis woman, and yes, people can have preferences that extend even to transgender. To not be open and honest about who you are, and use “stealth” to hide it seems disingenuous
@xxvoidstar@peachdreamer0@Kodaliras@GenericExcept That’s cosmetic. While I don’t think it’s necessarily rape, one could feel disturbed and violated if they engaged with someone without knowing. It’s not hard to be transparent
@sillysnapdragon@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras To an extent yes but basic building block building biology will always exist. Like chromosomes, sex-specific cells, and dna-structure
@Archi_Tech343@sillysnapdragon@Sl33pyThingg@Kodaliras What if one partner wanted to have biological children? What if they politically didn’t agree and didn’t know? Also, gender, being a social construct can very well be a fundamental of a relationship. Purposefully hiding it CAN crumble that foundation, not always though
