My adult daughter has Down syndrome. Apple Cash locked her out after identity verification failed despite her providing correct information. No fraud. No money in the account. Just access denied.
Phone support, social media, and Corporate Resolutions all said nothing can be done. They refused a manual ID review and a disability accommodation.
Today I filed complaints with the DOJ Civil Rights Division and the CFPB. Adults with disabilities deserve the same payment tools everyone else gets. DOJ record 840692-LDW. CFPB complaint 260923-38836389

Your social team asked for a DM. I sent it. I need a human review of my daughter’s restricted Apple Cash account, not another dead end.
Thank you. I will send the details in a private message now.
To be clear in public: this is an Apple Cash account for my adult daughter, who has Down syndrome. Identity verification failed on her correct information. Phone support said nothing could be done. We need a human review and a path for her to use this Apple service.
Sending the DM now. @Apple@AppleCard@AppleSupport
@RGIII What you don’t realize is, this is a publicity stunt. This has happened throughout history think about it a league that is failing or has failed. How do you spark some interest? PR always needs a story.
