VIDEO - Chlorine Dioxide is my #1 go to for any respiratory infection, especially the flu or COVID-19. 😃
It was used extensively in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru during the pandemic and completely emptied the hospitals.
This stuff is awesome and easy to get! 😎
The global debt crisis has never been worse.
Japan now has a gross government Debt-to-GDP ratio of 204.4%, the highest among any major world economy.
Italy follows at 138.4%, while the United States stands at 125.8%, which is only below the ~132.0% record set during the 2020 pandemic.
At the same time, France’s gross government Debt-to-GDP ratio is 118.4%, while Canada’s, China’s, and the UK’s are 110.7%, 106.9%, and 103.6%, respectively.
By comparison, Germany is the only major economy below 100.0%, at 64.6%.
The current average among advanced economies is 108.2%.
The world economy is drowning in debt.
THE AI POWER CRUNCH IS HERE, AND AMERICA’S GRID IS ALREADY STRAINING
For months, we were told the AI data-center power crisis was years away. The Energy Department issued an emergency order for PJM, America’s largest grid operator, which serves 67 million people across 13 states and Washington, D.C.
The order allows PJM to use backup generation as a last resort to prevent blackouts. Unseasonably warm weather, high demand, and maintenance outages at power plants and on transmission lines pushed the grid into emergency conditions.
Trump has made winning the AI race a priority. His administration promised data centers would build and pay for their own power, not raise household electricity costs or burden the grid. But can new generation and transmission be built fast enough?
PJM projects data-center demand could triple to roughly 29 gigawatts by 2030, while the region faces a projected 6.8-gigawatt capacity shortfall. Wholesale capacity costs have risen more than 1,000% since 2024, and those costs can ultimately reach consumers.
Data centers did not necessarily cause this emergency. But it shows how little margin the grid already has before the biggest wave of AI demand arrives.
PJM proposed requiring new data centers using 50 megawatts or more to fund enough new generation to cover their demand, or face curtailment during an emergency. Federal regulators rejected the curtailment provision, leaving states to decide who gets priority when power is scarce.
Federal regulators approved a data-center registry because they still lack clear information on how much power many projects will need or whether they have backup generation. Some data centers rely on diesel generators. The emergency order allows certain backup units to exceed normal operating limits, increasing fuel use and pollution concerns.
Google and Constellation plan to add 890 megawatts of nuclear power, but not until 2028. The grid is under pressure now. America cannot win an AI race if it cannot keep the lights on. Before powering artificial intelligence, Washington must ensure it can power American families.
How did the AI arms race and the data-center buildout suddenly make the climate crisis disappear from the political conversation? The same institutions that warned Americans about energy use, emissions, and environmental sacrifice now support massive new power demand, diesel backup generation, and grid expansion for Big Tech.
Ed Dowd (@DowdEdward) breaks down the AI buildout, the data-center power crunch, and why the green-energy movement has gone quiet.
