Ever since that once Arthur brought her into town — which now felt like forever ago, anyway — Sadie had been twiddling her thumbs, sitting idly by in camp. Hoping one of the men might pick her for an errand or something exciting may happen. . . Or that's what it felt like.
Upon being called on by none other than the gang's leader, the woman stopped in her tracks. A job! A real one, she hoped!
“'Course I am,” Sadie replied, turning to face Dutch. “What is it? A bank?”
