@webdevMason 💯 agree that you’re never more alive than when you’re a mother. That’s an excellent way to put it. I told my daughters on Christmas that tiny moments of joy with them are more important to me than any one of life’s joys that might seem far greater.
@buttonslives You’ll be in the throes of menopause when they are teenagers. Something to think about. It’s not ideal.
That said, my regret is not having my children earlier so that I can know them for as long as possible. I’m taking great care of myself specially for them.
Bill Nye the (pseudo)Science Guy has gone all in promoting gender woo and sex pseudoscience. He wrongly equates sex chromosomes and hormone levels with sex, and promotes the unscientific (& regressive) concept of "gender identity" for kids as young as 3.

@MrDanielBuck I teach in an affluent district in a town that consistently makes it onto those best places to live lists. And even we have atrocious behavior.
@eyeslasho Teachers in schools like these are told that students need game stations in order to learn math. Students need explicit instruction to learn math.
@HippyMomPhD Kids with IQs over 110 can typically pick up sentence structure through exposure, but most kids benefit from explicit grammar lessons. Gifted children tend to be mesmerized by grammar lessons; their writing skills skyrocket with explicit instruction. (26 year veteran teacher)
