Potential Hot Take:
I’ve been thinking about this a lot since before I met Colson, but I think as fans, we need to protect the sanctity of letting him feel like a normal dude. Afterparties, approaching him in person while he’s out and about, etc.
Mostly this depends on ‘reading the room’ too. But imagine what a gift it is for him to not be bombarded with photo requests and autographs and questions about work right after he just got done working. Or while he’s out shopping with his daughter.
I think that while we love him and want to give him things we have made and ask him questions and get a pic because he means so much to us, I think it turns selfish because we’re expecting something from him instead of just experiencing him as a wonderful human without expectation.
Idk this is just turning around in my head a lot lately.
✨Protect the sanctity of his normal moments.✨
