@poteto@erikras@cursor_ai@poteto I feel like the biggest issue cursor is facing is that people still see it as VSCode with an agent tacked on instead of being a full fledged agent management environment.
@erikras@cursor_ai I haven’t used cursor as an IDE ever since the agents window came out. Editors are fading away while agent management windows are the future. CLIs will also slowly fade away too as managing multiple agents in multiple projects across multiple devices at once will be the new norm.
If you think of @cursor_ai as an IDE with agents built in I think you’re missing the point. It’s actually an AME, agent management environment, with coding tools built in.
Using a default AI voice is like using the default editor theme. Personalizing your LLM’s tone should be one of the first things you do when opening cursor, claude or whatever agentic coding tool you prefer.
I just turned 48. I eat burgers and wings and love a cold beer. I only had adjustable weights, a bench, and a pull up bar. I skip workouts when I’m busy or tired, but I am consistent. I rarely miss two workouts in a row. You don’t need a fancy diet or full gym to stay in shape.
I keep trying to move to one of these cool new terminal emulators like warp or ghostty but keep coming back to iTerm. It's the only one that does everything I want with no weird behaviors.
