IMHO brand and voice guidelines are still so vague and subjective.
Start-ups should have a publishing team in charge of gathering and sharing stories of the company. This "canon" can be used by other teams.

When it's easier to believe in the lie you tell yourself, self-sabotage happens. Working on knowing the real truth could be hard but it's a way out of it.
I struggle with self-sabotage & I recently saw an exercise by Martha Beck on how to deal with it. It's called "walking back the cat" π You go back to the moment where you did the self-sabotaging and recall what happened before..
Reflect on the ff:
What was I doing?
What was I feeling?
What was I thinking?
The last question is the most difficult but it reveals the belief you have told yourself to be true but it's actually the lie you tell yourself.
