A Reunion of Our Alma Mater!

After a span of sixteen years, the 2006-2010 batch of our esteemed School of Civil Engineering reunited on campus. This reunion fostered a renewed sense of camaraderie and reminiscence, providing an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their mentors and alma mater.

During the campus tour, the alumni were transported back in time as they visited the Central Library, academic buildings, classrooms, and the verdant campus that had once been their second home. They also explored KISS and expressed their profound appreciation for its exceptional contributions to empowering tribal children through quality education and holistic development.

Amidst a tapestry of nostalgia, laughter, and gratitude, the reunion celebrated the enduring bond that unites generations of KIITians. This reunion ensured that the spirit of our institution will continue to inspire and empower future generations.

KIIT School of Management welcomed the MBA 2026 batch to its campus on July 6, 2026, with a formal induction program designed to introduce students and their parents to the institution.

The day began with registration and reporting, followed by an interactive session where parents engaged with the Director and Dean of KSOM. A guided campus tour provided families with a glimpse of KSOM's vibrant learning environment. The program concluded with Mentor–Mentee Meetings, which allowed students and their parents to connect personally with their faculty mentors.

Deeply humbled to receive the AAPI Award for Transformational Social Work and Indo-US Partnership at the 44th Annual AAPI Convention and Scientific Assembly in Tampa, Florida, USA.

This honour recognises my long journey in social service, education, healthcare and humanitarian work, along with my efforts to strengthen the partnership between India and the United States. I dedicate this honour to the entire KIIT, KISS & KIMS family, who have always stood with me in this journey of education, healthcare and service to society.

I also delivered the keynote address before eminent physicians and healthcare leaders of Indian origin and shared my simple belief that education, healthcare and service to humanity must always go together.

My heartfelt thanks to AAPI President Dr. Amit Chakrabarty, Convention Chair Dr. Sagar Galwankar, Convener Dr. Raghu Juvvadi and the entire AAPI family for this honour and affection.

Very happy and proud of our student Ms Samarpita Dash, PhD Scholar, School of Mass Communication, KIIT Deemed to be University, for receiving the Odisha State Film Award as Best Actress (Jury) for the film Ae Akasha Tale.
