HUF is supporting SRIJAN since 2019 to revive 110 traditional tanks through active community participation. To do this, SRIJAN mobalised local community members to restore and ensure the maintenance of the restored tanks.

SRIJAN is making a difference by promoting water conservation and sustainable farming practices. In Guiyan Khurd & Guiyan Kalaan villages of Mau district, #UttarPradesh, tanks have been restored, 'dohas' have been dug, and check dams repaired.

Jagban Kushwaha a marginal #farmer in the #Lalitpur district, #UttarPradesh was losing faith in farming as a viable source of subsistence. He was deeply in debt as a result of a string of poor harvests.

However, after #SRIJANcso introduced him to #multilayer #farming, he saw a dramatic improvement; by the end of the first season, he had cleared his debt and begun saving money from his abundant #cucumber harvest.

Sarita Kushwaha, a marginal farmer from Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh experience a rise in her disposable income after shifting to natural farming techniques.

She was facilitated in the setting up a Prakritik Krishi Kendra in her house which has emerged as a hub for Natural farming in the village. She concocts various organic inputs such as ghanjeevamrut, jeevamrut which are provided at reasonable costs to other farmers.
