We did it, Montana.
I couldn’t have done it without each of you who gave your time, talked to neighbors, and pitched in. What we built belongs to all of us. This is about the fight for working Montanans and now we take it on to November.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Montana congressional candidate Sam Forstag, a smokejumper running for office, says the fire he's trying to put out is "that working people in this country cannot afford the basics."
"Right now, the biggest fires that people are dealing with back home in Montana, where I live is, well, nobody can afford housing, and we got cities where housing has doubled or tripled in cost, if not more in the last 5 or 10 years in western Montana. And our wages have not kept up," he says.
Working people have always known: you stick together or you get picked apart.
Butte, you throw a damn good parade--thanks for all of the support and for celebrating with us today 🍀 Happy St. Patrick's Day. 💚

There is nothing more important to our democracy than a robust & free press. For @umontana Big Give, my wife is once again willing to match any donation to the @UMJSchool via this link over the next 24 hours. Support future journalists HERE! #UMBigGive https://t.co/i8EfzGJtF8
What is happening in Congress right now is political malpractice. It’s hogwash. The people of Montana sent me to Washington to fix problems, not play games. So let’s roll up our sleeves and get the damn thing done.
I can’t support a bill that doesn’t secure the border, provides taxpayer funded lawyers to illegal immigrants and gives billions to radical open borders groups. I’m a no.

NEW: @Kyle_Mullica & @TonyExum just introduced their new bill to cut red tape by allowing and encouraging accessory dwelling unit construction.
This would increase our housing stock, bring down prices, & create more homes for folks who need them.

We must act now to address Colorado’s water crisis.
Senate Bill 5 promotes water conservation by prohibiting local govs, HOAs, & special districts from planting water-guzzling turf on non-functional, seldom used areas like medians or parking lot perimeters.
