The reason why we see these hippies get fascinated with Hinduism is because Hinduism allows them to fulfill their fleshly desires. No rules. No discipline. No guidelines. No red lines. Do whatever your flesh desires to.

In the video (check comments) you get to see the hippie smoking ganja and then doing a ritual with a human skull. Can you believe it? Doing ritual with human skull is found mentioned in Hindu texts. Hippies are those who challenge traditional values. These people will choose every other religions, just not Christianity.

So, they are not just interested in Hinduism, tomorrow some of them will convert to Islam or to some other faith. These hippies don’t convert because they found Krishna’s or Muhammed’s life to be better than Jesus, but because it allows them to lead a hedonistic lifestyle and also due to something called suicidal empathy which is related to the colonial past and white guilt.

Hinduism allows them to sleep around, smoke ganja, do other drugs and even play with genders. It’s true that most of the lgbtq people in the west are often fascinated with eastern philosophies. Why so? Haha.
