आजकल बकरा चर्चा में बना हुआ है, कुछ लोग इसकी हत्या का विरोध कर रहे हैं तो कुछ बेशर्मी के साथ उसे डिफेंड कर रहे. भले आप मांसाहारी हों लेकिन आप भी इस बात पर यकीनकरेंगे ही कि जीव हत्या पाप है.

मैं शाकाहारी हूं, मुझे जीव हत्या पाप लगती है। मैं भगवान से डरता हूं। इसलिए कभी भी मांसाहार नहीं कर सकता। जो लोग बकरा नहीं काटने की अपील कर रहे उम्मीद है वो मांसाहार नहीं करते होंगे या जो करते रहें होंगे वो छोड़ देंगे. तब यह एक अच्छी पहल हो सकती है। खैर किसे क्या खाना है क्या नहीं इसके लिए लिए वो स्वतंत्र है, मांसाहार करना या न करना किसी नैतिकता का पैमाना नहीं है। लेकिन मांसाहार छोड़ने को लेकर जितने लोगों को जागरुक किया जा सके वो भी कोई कम नहीं। बकरा/मुर्गा या अन्य जीव की हत्या कर खाने को किसी आधार पर समर्थन नहीं किया जा सकता। मेरे जान पहचान में भी जो लोग करते हैं मैं उन्हें भी मना करता हूं, उनसे भी कहता हूं ये गलत है मत करो। लेकिन अंतिम इच्छा उन्हीं की है। उन्हें जैसा सही लगता है वो करें।
