@AngelaSterritt What a great book. I read it in one day. I really appreciated your vulnerability, @AngelaSterritt in sharing your own stories and showing us the personal stories of missing and murdered women. So often we just see statistics and we need the stories to feel emotionally connected.
@AngelaSterritt What a wonderful event with the amazing @AngelaSterritt. Great to hear the discussion with APTN Jounalist, Tina House. Great to hear how Angela got into journalism and to be reminded that colonialism is alive and well in Canada. Can’t wait to read Unbroken.

@AngelaSterritt As a settler, I attended the Tseil Waututh pilgrimage this morning and raised my hands to those walking from the location of the residential school in North Vancouver to their community on Indian Arm. I started listening to Duncan McCue’s amazing podcast “Kuper Island”
So much fun @BritanniaMine Pride Night. The show “Old Town, New Queens” was great. Fun to see a drag show live and to sing along on “We Will , We Will Rock You!”
Read this comment and sign the petition. I am signing this because I grew up in West Vancouver. I am appalled by this covenant, which says that people of “African or Asiatic” descent could not reside there — unless they were servants”. https://t.co/Urmto1wOsR via @CdnChange
After seeing the amazing film, Love in the Time of Fentanyl at DOXA last week, I was so pleased that Sarah Blyth Founder and Executive Director of Vancouver Overdose Prevention Society, featured in the film, win the Community Champion award at #YWCAWODA
Having visit the amazing Chinese Storytelling Centre this past Monday, I was so happy to see Dr. Carol Lee be recognized as this year’s Icon Award Winner at #YWCAWODA
@AngelaSterritt That is appalling, Angela. No one should have to put up with this. You are a great journalist and I have been amazed by your stories. As a settler and someone who is working towards being a good ally, let me know if I can help in some way.
@kwetoday I am appalled by the convoy AND I am white. I am trying to be the best ally I can be. The people flying confederate and Nazi flags, urinating on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and vandalizing Terry Fox’s monument do not represent me one iota.
Everyone in the extended Dress for Success Worldwide family will miss you, Joi. You have done a tremendous leading this wonderful organization that helps women around the world get a job, develop a career, and change the lives of themselves and their families. Best wishes.
