What's the deal, @DURAFLAME ? Bought tonight & came home & lit it & all it did was burn the outside paper. Followed directions w/ the arrows.
I have been firm in my support for abortion rights.
Tim Michels has been clear that he supports a criminal ban on abortion, with no exceptions for rape, incest, or health of a mother – we cannot let this divisive and radical candidate win.
Let’s do the right thing this fall.
Recall that @michelsforgov - who changed his position on abortion today - gave $25k from his foundation to Pro-life Wisconsin, a group that calls for no exceptions (including rape and incest) to a statewide abortion ban. https://t.co/1qzK7fpl0Q via @journalsentinel
@emilygiffin I'm desperately trying to reach your assistant via email for a very special request. My coworker is your biggest fan & she is retiring. Can you help me make it an extremely memorable day? Please?
Today would be a great day to start making Supreme Court justices follow a basic code of ethics. And yes, I’ve got a plan for that—as part of my bill for a judicial ethics overhaul.
My name is Tom Nelson, and I am the Democrat that is going to defeat Ron Johnson this year and abolish the filibuster.
Ron is America's worst Senator, and new polls show that I am beating him. Could you please retweet and follow to spread my grassroots movement?
Sen. Graham wants to RAISE the age of qualifying for Social Security to 70. This is the equivalent to cutting Social Security by 21%!
Let's REMIND Lindsey Graham that Social Security is OUR money.😡
Quick reminder that the US Congress is 73% male and that’s the lowest it’s ever been, in case you want 1 small contributing glimpse as to why Roe hasn’t been treated w/ the urgency it deserved for ~50 years. (And why our politics are so gross towards women & LGBT+ people overall)
Over 150 years ago, Congress decided there should be 9 Supreme Court justices because there were 9 circuit courts. Today there are 13 circuit courts, so it makes sense for Congress to expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices.
Who agrees? ✋
In 1869, Congress set the number of Supreme Court justices at 9 to align with the fact that there were 9 circuit courts.
There are now 13 circuit courts.
