In the late 1980s my science teacher, also the head of the A/V department showed me this film (I was an A/V volunteer why I have so much of this stuff).

This is The City from 1939 and it is a very powerful film. It blew me away. And changed me.

I convinced him to show it to all his classes and it was loved.

I love everything about this movie. But especially the part where it said we could do better.

This movie was shown at The World’s Fair and influenced many. However Cronyism and corruption took our good senses and responses it to tribalism that nullified the will of those that saw this film and saw a healthy path.

Take the 45 minutes and know this was 1939.

Plenty of illegal migrants are being dropped off in Chelmsford from Wethersfield today and heading straight out on a shopping spree. While ordinary British people get up, go to work and hand over ever larger chunks of their earnings in tax, these arrivals are given accommodation, support and the freedom to spend public money in the high street.
This is the daily reality of a broken asylum system. Young fighting-age men with no obvious claim to protection are housed at vast expense and then allowed to wander towns and cities as if they are already settled citizens. British families struggling with the cost of living, high rents and stretched public services watch their taxes fund shopping trips for people who entered the country unlawfully or with questionable claims.
Wethersfield and similar sites exist because the government has refused to stop the boats and process claims offshore or swiftly deport those without a genuine case. The result is a permanent underclass of arrivals living off the state while native workers foot the bill. There are no women and children in these groups. There is no visible desperation. There is only the steady transfer of resources from British taxpayers to people who should not be here.
This cannot continue. The boats must be stopped. The hotels and dispersal centres must be emptied through rapid returns. Public money must serve British people first — in housing, welfare and every other service. Every day this policy drags on is another day British workers subsidise a system that rewards illegal entry and punishes those who built and sustain the country. Enough is enough.

A homeless Irish man sleeping rough asks the obvious question: why is he the one without a blanket or proper shelter while migrants are housed in tax-funded luxury guarded by security? The contrast could not be clearer or more insulting. Native citizens who built and sustained the country are left on the streets while new arrivals receive better accommodation than many working families could ever afford.
This is not compassion. It is a deliberate inversion of priorities. Governments across Britain and Ireland have chosen to spend billions on hotels, converted buildings and high-end facilities for people who entered the country unlawfully or with questionable claims, while veterans, the elderly and ordinary citizens sleep in doorways. The same politicians who lecture about “diversity” and “inclusion” treat their own people as disposable.
The policy is unsustainable and morally indefensible. Every pound spent on luxury migrant accommodation is a pound not available for British and Irish citizens in genuine need. Every bed given to someone with no right to be here is a bed denied to a native family or a homeless veteran. The public sees the disparity every day and understands exactly what it means.
The only remedy is to stop the inflow immediately and begin large-scale removals. Failed asylum seekers, economic migrants and foreign nationals who commit crimes must be deported. Housing, welfare and public services must be reserved first for the people whose taxes fund them. Anything less guarantees more scenes like this one and deeper resentment from citizens who are being told their country no longer belongs to them. Put our people first. End the madness.

FIFA approved the expansion of teams from 32 to 48 teams starting in 2026 in order "to increase participation, particularly from Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean."

FIFA frames this as making the tournament "more global than ever" and reducing thereby "Euro-centrism" in soccer = reducing the fact that Europeans and White guys like Messi have dominated the sport for a century.

This should not surprise us: FIFA officially promotes "diversity," "inclusion," "anti-discrimination," and human rights in official policies, World Cup strategies, and campaigns.

The goal of FIFA and Western multiculturalism is the marketing of football as a "universal, multicultural sport."

This flyer dropped through a British home offering £1,000 cash and guaranteed rent whether a tenant is present or not. The money can only be coming from the public purse. No private landlord would make such a reckless offer without a government-backed guarantee.
Britain is now running a system where illegal arrivals by boat are turned into a cash cow for landlords and contractors at the direct expense of taxpayers. While British families struggle with sky-high rents, young people cannot afford to leave home, and homelessness rises, public money is being used to subsidise housing for people who have no legal right to be here.
This is not compassion. It is a perverse incentive that rewards illegal entry and creates a profitable industry around managing the consequences. Every pound spent housing boat migrants in this way is a pound not available for British citizens in genuine need. The same government that claims it cannot build enough homes for its own people somehow finds the funds to guarantee rents for new arrivals.
The boats must be stopped. The incentives that turn migration into a business must be removed. Public money should serve British people first — in housing, in welfare and in every other service. Landlords taking these deals are profiting from a policy failure. The policy itself is the real scandal. End the payments. End the guarantees. End the boats.

A UK family where both parents work full-time, pay full council tax, and earn enough to be 'doing alright' on paper, can't afford to take their kids to the Tower of London on a Saturday in 2026.

Two adult tickets and two child tickets at standard price comes to roughly £100. Add £40-£80 in train fares and £50-£70 for lunch — that's around £200 for a single Saturday at one tourist attraction in their own capital city.

A family on full Universal Credit, living in subsidised housing, paying no council tax, can take the same four people to the same Tower for £1 a ticket — £4 total — under the 'inclusive access' schemes most major UK attractions now run.

The working family pays the full £200 day out AND covers — through their taxes — the £196 discount the benefits family gets on the same trip.

Whatever the original intention of those schemes, this is the structure most UK working families are now living inside. Pay the full bill, then watch the people next door enjoy the day out you can't take your own kids to.

Waters Flowing Eastward: The War Against the Kingship of Christ L. Fry (1931)

One of the most controversial and difficult-to-find books of the early 20th century.

In 1931, L. Fry published Waters Flowing Eastward: The War Against the Kingship of Christ. The book presents a sweeping interpretation of modern history in which major events are portrayed as the result of deliberate action by a coordinated network rather than the outcome of ordinary political decisions, alliances, and social forces. Its most distinctive and striking sections focus on the First World War, the relationship between capitalism and Bolshevism, and a broader religious narrative about the erosion of Christian institutions. These passages reveal what Fry most urgently wanted readers to understand.

Fry’s account of the First World War is among the book’s most forceful claims. She asserted that “certain Jews” played a decisive role in engineering or extending the conflict. In this telling, the collapse of the major Christian monarchies in Russia, Germany, and Austria-Hungary was not the tragic result of nationalism and entangled alliances. It was presented as deliberate sabotage. The immense suffering, the redrawing of national borders, and the new political arrangements that emerged including developments in the Middle East were described as following a pre-existing design. What most people experienced as overwhelming tragedy and disorder was, according to Fry, the first large-scale success of a coordinated network.

Fry argued that international capitalism and Bolshevism were not true enemies but complementary forces. One worked through finance, banking, media, and economic influence; the other through revolution, class conflict, and the destruction of existing institutions. Though appearing opposed, she claimed both advanced the same objective.

She also maintained that war, diplomacy, finance, education, the press, public opinion, revolution, and ideology including the Russian Revolution and the spread of Bolshevism should not be viewed separately. According to Fry, they reinforced one another as parts of a single historical process. She repeatedly argued that major political conflicts were often “false opposites,” giving the appearance of competing sides while driving the same larger transformation.

At the heart of the book is Fry’s belief that the ultimate struggle was spiritual. She argued the true objective was the destruction of the Kingship of Christ by dismantling Christian monarchies, traditional religious authority, national sovereignty, and the cultural foundations of Western civilization, replacing them with a new international order. In her view, political revolutions could only succeed after people’s religious, moral, and cultural foundations had first been weakened.

The title reflects Fry’s belief that unseen historical currents were moving beneath the surface of world events. Her message is that history is not random. She urged readers to look beyond individual events and recognize what she believed was one continuous pattern directing wars, revolutions, economic upheaval, and political change toward the transformation of Christian civilization.
