Today is my birthday. I usually don't make a fuss about it, but I am grateful. My dad died at age 46 and my son died at age 30. Today I turn 60. I am excited for what God has in store for me this year. I plan to thrive in twenty-five.
So, I am asking for a gift from you.
Better is one day. Today I celebrate the day my son would have turned 44, but I also acknowledge that it has been 5,078 days since we were last together. But I also know, better is one day in his courts than a thousand elsewhere.
Until we meet again, Kevin.
