@MarkDavis_Ag@james_hoganv Do you think it will limit the opportunity for grad students or cause younger players to lose their roster spot? I feel confident if a coach has the opportunity to bring in an impact player they’re going to “make” a roster spot…
High School Athlete of the Week (5/19): Cade Sturdivant ('26)
Varsity Lacrosse took home the state title on Friday, conquering McCallie in large part thanks to the efforts of Cade! The junior attackman scored four goals including a trio in the second half on the Big Red's way to a 13-8 victory!

@danarestia Yes! That was exactly my point. Yale isn’t always at the top of the rankings in recruiting, but seems like they develop guy. That will be a really interesting study…. Look forward to reading it. Appreciate your thoughtful analysis
@danarestia Interesting, right? Obviously it shows their ability to attract and develop talent. Would be interesting to see how many guys would additionally be counted if they had been drafted out of Yale. Or perhaps all their transfers were originally drafted and the methodology is true.
@danarestia I think that would make most sense. Not certain how many players transferred but weren’t drafted at their original schools, but it would significantly bias against the ivys with no grad year available. Obviously their best players would have abundant transfer options
@danarestia In my humble opinion, I agree w that methodology. Probably not a perfect answer to this scenario, but probably as good as you can get- thanks for the clarification
on the clock, the sophomore got some space on a run from behind the goal and found the back of the net for his third of the night sealing the Big Red Victory!
