The power of social media is truly amazing. ❤️
I made a random post about a man selling pure water on the streets of Abuja while dressed in a suit. Not long after, Cosgrove Investment Limited saw the post and commented, asking us to help find him because they believed such dedication deserved to be rewarded.
A few days later, I found him, reached out to Cosgrove and connected them.
Just over a week later, he called me with so much gratitude. Cosgrove had met with him and empowered him to start a business of his own. He couldn’t stop thanking everyone who made it possible.
This is a reminder that one simple post can change someone’s life.
Thank you to everyone who shared the post and helped us find him. And a special thank you to Cosgrove for turning kindness into action.

@gsbabatunde What are you even saying! You chose a wrong estate for your analysis. That estate has been practically empty for years and the infrastructure are getting damaged. A long term developer, as you called it, that's allowing finished estate to rot away on a long term. What's their ROI
From me to you,
I hope you are well. 🙏🏿❤️
The interesting thing was that I wanted to make this post a video recording, but as much as I tried, I could not get through the recording, so I’ll just share my thoughts here.
Today makes it 2 months since my Husband, Business Manager and best friend, Michael, was very suddenly and unexpectedly taken from me and truly, from us.
Even though I lost my Dad at quite an early age, nothing ever prepared me for the reality of becoming a young widow. It has been hard. It has been exceedingly difficult.
Some days are good; some days are just painfully indescribable. What do I do with myself? Where do I start from? So many things left undone and unsaid. So many emotions i am unable to put into words.
Through it all, even in times that I had nothing but harsh words and questions that I asked Him and He didn’t immediately respond to me, God keeps finding ways to show me He has me in mind. For this I am grateful and I continue to hold on to Him to keep going on.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to you all for your outpouring of love, your kind words, prayers, thoughtful messages and posts. I do not know how I will ever repay each and everyone of you - but please know that I am truly and sincerely grateful. Family, friends, Michael’s friends, colleagues, Media Houses, blogs, Fans and every single person that has helped me through this period, I pray that the almighty God will help me reward you! You will not experience pain in whatever quantity.

A BOLD MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE.
Today, I stand before you with a heart filled with profound gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility.
I am truly humbled by the confidence that members of the Nigerian Bar Association have reposed in me by electing me to serve as your President.
Thank you for believing in our shared vision of A BOLDER BAR THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE. This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every member who believed that our Association can be stronger, more inclusive, more responsive, and better positioned to serve the interests of all lawyers.
Over the past months, I had the privilege of travelling across our nation, engaging with colleagues in every state of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory. I listened to your hopes, your concerns, your aspirations, and your ideas. Those conversations shaped this campaign, and they will continue to guide my leadership.
I extend my sincere appreciation to every member who participated in this election, regardless of the candidate you supported. The election is over. We are one Bar, united by a common commitment to the advancement of our profession and the defence of justice and the rule of law.
I congratulate my fellow contestants for their commitment to our Association and for enriching this democratic process. I look forward to working with all of you as partners in building an NBA that reflects the very best of our profession.
To the BBOLD Campaign Council, our volunteers, coordinators, supporters, friends, colleagues, and every person who worked tirelessly, often behind the scenes, I cannot thank you enough. Your dedication, sacrifice, belief, and hard work made this journey possible. I am deeply grateful.
To my husband, thank you for your love, your sacrifices, your encouragement, and your unwavering belief in me throughout this journey. Your support, strength, and quiet confidence have meant more than words can express. I am deeply grateful to have walked this path with you by my side. Thank you for being my steadfast partner through it all.
To my family, mentors, friends, and everyone who stood by me with their prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support, thank you for walking this journey with me.
Today marks not the end of a campaign, but the beginning of a new responsibility.
I pledge to lead with integrity, courage, humility, fairness, and accountability. I will be a President for every member of the Nigerian Bar Association. Together, we will build an Association where every lawyer has the opportunity to earn better, live better, and practise better.
The work begins now.
May God continue to bless the Nigerian Bar Association and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Thank you, and God bless you all.
- Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb (Mrs. B)

I commissioned and hand over (two) Boreholes to my people of Tse Mue Ato Mbaavarakaa Council ward Mbatiav, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue state Nigeria.
Access to Water has been a significant challenge in my community as God could have it I’m opportune to step in and help with the little I can..
like I always say, Gold I don’t have none Silver but the little I have I make sure it gets to the right places.
Really grateful for the safe return of the children and teachers abducted from Oriire LGA 56 days ago. Our priority now is to ensure they are reunited with their families and support their rehabilitation after this traumatic experience.
We also commend the security agencies that took part in the rescue operations for their sacrifices. May the souls of those who paid the ultimate price rest in peace and may God comfort their families.
Dear Blessing,
I just came across your tweet, and it truly inspired me.
To graduate with a First Class in Mathematics from UNILORIN and then earn a fully funded Master's admission in Italy is an extraordinary achievement. You have demonstrated excellence and the promise that exists in so many young Nigerians.
No young person who has worked this hard should have such an opportunity limited by the cost of getting there. It would be my privilege to support your journey by covering what is left in the cost of your relocation.
@nancy_i_i from my office will reach out to you today.
Congratulations once again. Go, excel, and continue to make Nigeria proud.

Our culture is beautiful, but beauty does not mean perfection. ÌWỌ̀NTÚNWỌ̀NSÌ Reminds us that wisdom lies in balance; The ability to celebrate what uplifts us and question what holds us back. Preservation and criticism can coexist.

I was delighted to host the outstanding Nigerian students who represented our country at the @Huawei Global ICT Competition in China and returned home with exceptional results.
Drawn from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO), University of Lagos (UNILAG), Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA), University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), and Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSU), the 15 students competed across the Network, Cloud, Computing, and Innovation tracks after progressing through national and regional stages of the year-long Huawei ICT Academy programme.
At the global finals, Team Nigeria secured two Grand Prizes in the Network and Innovation tracks, two First Prizes in the Cloud track, and a Second Prize in the Computing track. These achievements made Nigeria the most successful country in the competition outside China for the third consecutive year.
Particularly inspiring was the Innovation Team from Ahmadu Bello University, whose solution leveraged Huawei’s AI, Cloud, and Ascend technologies to develop a solar-powered diagnostic tool capable of testing for malaria and intestinal parasites in under three minutes without requiring internet connectivity. It is a powerful example of how young Nigerians are applying technology not only to compete globally, but also to solve some of our most pressing local challenges.
I am looking forward to connecting these young innovators with the right support and exposure to ensure their passion and creativity can be further built on.

It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.
