@skillz17q People, in minor criminal cases often times an attorney is there on behalf of the prosecution to work out a deal. As a JP in Texas, this is a regular practice. The court summons you, you talk the prosecutor and hopefully find a solution. If not then you talk to the judge.

To use lethal force in Texas you still must face an imminent treat to your life. And you must use proportional force.
