so far, my journey on @fomo starting with barely $1,000 has allowed me to become part of the top 1,000 most profitable traders of all time on the app.

when looking down, it’s a respectable achievement, knowing that most people who try to make a living from trading are unprofitable.

but i also know that when comparing myself to the top traders on this app, my performance is far below what it could have become.
in other words: playing small.

overall, i’ve come to the simple conclusion that my results are a good expression of who i am and what i’m trying to get out of this space.

i’ve made peace with and accepted who i am and how i trade.

i still want to push myself, but i’m no longer trying to compare myself to or chase the most aggressive/impressive PnLs.

i’m not looking to publicly hold the next x100 or get involved in the next cabal coin with huge unrealized PnL, chasing clout and blowing hot air, only to be unable to sell without getting called out.

i’m not looking for dopamine or high volatility from my portfolio.
i’m looking for peace, consistency, and stability.

my only goal with trading is to keep securing and stacking my 5 to multi-5 figs a month, so i never have to think about finances or material things when i log off and turn off my screen, allowing me to focus on meaningful, grounding experiences and improving my social life, mental and physical health.

i might never make it into the top 100 like i originally planned, and i might never hit a million-dollar PnL on a single trade with the strategy i’m following, but my main goal of living abundantly from trading has already been largely accomplished, and my mission now is to help the people close to me who have the same dream as me achieve it too.

if your main goal is to find peace in real life, minimise time spent on screen and stress from trading, and build some form of healthy stability and comfort without living through the kind of extreme volatility and addiction that would make most people lose it all when the next bear market comes back around, then eventually, you might enjoy following my account ( dezpill ).

I actually predicted this number from the team’s last post.
When Optimum dropped 417,700, I sat down with the previous numbers and tried to figure out where the next one could land. 658,200 was the number I came up with.

And now here we are, I still don't know exactly what @get_optimum is cooking, and I'm not going to pretend I do, But there is definitely a pattern here, and it's becoming harder to ignore. 🧵
