At approximately 9:40 last night (Oct. 20, 2024), two VSP troopers rescued a 40-year-old woman whose vehicle became submerged in a retention pond off of I-66.
Troopers King and Foret jumped into the pond and were able to get the woman out of the vehicle through the sunroof.
