@BOCallday Barnes was vilified and had “for sale” signs put in his yard…won a BET with a loaded recruiting class. Left w/ big offer
Gillen was crushed the yr after an elite 8…left
Ed was getting killed before the S16 yr…
And we all blame the coach for leaving.
@BOCallday Most of it are season ticket holders…and if you are going to bail on the team and coach after one tough year, please don’t come back. It wasn’t a fun year but burning it all down is a bad look.
@JoeKash24 @BOCallday@CoachPalmer3 Get a life. I’ve gone back further than you. You can be critical and want more but going nuclear after a year the team lost an all American and other three starters for large portions of the year is soft.
@JoeKash24 @BOCallday@CoachPalmer3 Find a new team to root for. You are a pillow soft fan….PC has long had a loyal and passionate community of fans who live and die with the program…but over the last few years we’ve seen a blizzard of delicate snowflakes who turn on the team the moment things get tough.
@JaredKotler I’m a Providence fan and we outclassed them. Granted Hop played, but it was his 1st back from ACL tear & we had just lost three straight at Atlantis
Beat them by 20 but honestly should’ve/could’ve easily beaten them by 30+
I understand the worry - but also think you’re better
@kjmac111 Kam, Ball, DAW, Prince, Kalk, Kim
Kam, Ball, Kalk running Kim’s high ball screen motion read offense…DAW & Prince providing switch everything defensive versatility and Kalk anchoring the middle
@FriarsCapital@ryancassidycbb Ryan - I totally got the point of your original message, the crazy thing is PC had at least two other starters (JAR and Cardet) each miss at least as much as many others you shared. Just a brutal year and impossible to assess the actual result of PCs season
@missysinghsongs They are also trying to figure out whether to pay him $70 million per year…you can say a lot of things about this scenario but “abusive” is “absurd”
@CorenRichard it stunned me when you shared how few 20 loss seasons PC had in its long history
Crazier, the young core of the only 20 loss team in the last 75 yrs was:
-Matt Palazzi
-Dave Kipfer
-Jacek Duda
-Steve Wright
-Pop Lewis
-Billy Donovan
@BannersParkway Amazing how hard it is to be consistently successful when you lose your best player in a way where you’ve built the roster expecting him to recover 2x…you can only do so much to contingency plan
I hope we’re able to get Hopkins healthy for a yr but not planning on it
Good luck
@BpenfieldJ He didn’t. This video did Corey dirty. Corey slipped on a wet spot, you could hear the squeak and see the slide. It happened to multiple guys on both sides (a Dunk special)
@NYPost_Brazille SJU fans can thank the Georgetown administration for turning Pitino down (simply amazing) and to PC’s Fr. Sicard for not trying to poach him back after his good friend Shanley had clearly entered into negotiations.
@MisterHotBalls Nice stroke by Liam…but CBS did Corey dirty on this clip. I don’t know if the mics caught it but Corey slipped on a classic “Dunk”wet spot…the whole arena heard it. Multiple guys on both teams wiped out a few times
@BOCallday It’s funny…I think we confuse “pass first” with “don’t turn the ball over” and “don’t make mind numbing decisions”…in other words, “a better point guard.”
I want a PG that can score AND pass…too much to ask.
But these are the two portal needs. Nothing more pending retention
