Here’s how the scam works

- Anyone with an EBT card comes in and buys an item
- The store adjusts the price of that item to the amount of money that’s on the person’s EBT card
- The store gives the person 50 cents on the dollar for the balance on the EBT card

Meaning is you have $120 on your EBT card, you’re able to exchange it for $60 cash and the store pockets the rest of the money for doing the transaction

This is a scam that is happening nationwide. There have even been so many mainstream media stories where this has been highlighted as a common scam

As I watched the video and listened to the 6-year-old who shot his teacher spew every cuss word imaginable, I thought about the young mother I spoke to the other day. She has a 2 little boys and was worried they’d pick up words like “stupid” and “idiot” from friends and cartoons.

Imagine if her children wound up in a classroom with a child like the one in the video. It happens every day. Very young children from happy, healthy homes, where respect for authority and thoughtful words are the norm, are introduced to the chaos and fear that is bred in homes where dysfunction reigns.

All children deserve an education, but we need to have a serious conversation about our responsibility to protect the innocent, well-behaved children from classroom trauma like this rather than simply reacting to it by increasing “trauma-informed instruction”.

I’m so proud of this crew. Not the politicians. Not the pundits. The sailors and Marines who got the order, boarded the ship, and did the job until it was done.

That is the part the cameras never stay for. Months of flight decks, night watches, and a carrier sitting in someone else’s neighborhood so the threat stays a threat and not a headline. They did not get a vote on the deployment. They got a rack, a shift, and a mission. They followed orders. They kicked ass. Now the pier is theirs.

CENTCOM posted the welcome. USS Abraham Lincoln, CVN 72, returns to California today after a historic Middle East deployment. More than 5,000 Sailors and Marines supported thousands of combat flights and sailed more than 90,000 miles. The clip runs deck crews, jets at sunrise, missiles on the rail, night watches under red and green light, then the ship on the horizon with a fighter off the bow and “WELCOME HOME” across the sky.

The reunion is the reward. Kids and pets on the pier. Spouses who carried the house alone. A hot meal that is not served on a steel tray. Rest. Then they regroup, because that is what a real Navy does. The regimes can post. This crew already sailed the miles.

A former friend says she told the community she needed papers so her brother could go to school.

2017: she divorces the husband/brother and remarries husband one a month later.
