Big before and after progress during today’s bullpens with @LandanGregory23 and @rubey_charlie20
Both guys made substantial spin axis adjustments to their changeup shapes which allows for more sink and run.
@The_BPCsj@EddisJohn8 Most high school pitchers are asked to have a throwing workload that is rivaled by no other level of baseball Usually a team’s better pitchers are their better hitters so of course they’re asked to play the field and make more throws in practice from their position after pitching
@The_BPCsj@EddisJohn8 I have to disagree here. Most high school pitchers are asked to throw high intent 4+ times a week. I think at the youth level we as an industry fail to realize the strain we put on kids arms who pitch once a week but then still play their position in the field for 2-3 more games.
@IYKbaseball If only ball clubs were as simple as houses. This season is a disappointment anyway you look at it nobody disagrees with you. Play this game with someone else, Mark.
@IYKbaseball Player development is probably 70%-80% of the job I’d argue that’s the exact reason Avila was fired. We can agree to disagree. Not gonna do the whole gotcha game on a completely different topic than when I chimed in.
@IYKbaseball Not gonna play the gotcha game with you Mark the bullpen sucks everyone knows it I was talking about the development of Skubal and Melton happy to talk about the original topic with you you’re a smart guy but you have an emotional deal with Harris that gets in your way of logic
@LanceBroz Looks like he’s improved his drift phase a bit. Taking away the windup gets him in a better position to get to that drift more consistently. The rest of the delivery improves from there. Looks like he’s dropping a good bit more, the block even looks slightly better too.
@IYKbaseball I certainly love Bryce Rainer but it’s time to have a real conversation regarding the K% he’s getting very worrisome hope he turns it around but man it’s ugly right now
