Yes, I am from MN. And yes, I advocate for reform in Florida b/c my LO has life under Florida’s #PRR. I’ve done research on this law & wrote a 37-page brief detailing it’s history, etc. I started the #PRR petition & built the https://t.co/XAvsVTIoZl website. #repealflprr

Ironic that @FL_Corrections pays over 20 grand a year to one outpatient drug treatment facility, all the while drugs are easier to get in FL prisons than food or healthcare.
@DavidLeegarlock@DrOz You can always tell when a candidate really has nothing else to offer when they bring out the “soft on crime” card. Unfortunately, with the ignorant public, it usually works.
Crime is a young man’s game. You age out of it. Our system should recognize that those who are no longer a threat no longer need to be incarcerated. We far over-incarcerate leading to mass warehousing of humans. https://t.co/WYfgkF2kRm
Terron R. received a life sentence in Florida in 2009 for burglary w/more than $1000 in damage. He did not physically harm anyone. The reason he received life is because he was released from prison within 3 years…for cocaine possession.
Ross is serving a life sentence in the feds. But Florida has the most humans w/life sentences in the USA. Too many men&women sentenced to die in prison. Especially for crimes that didn’t result in anyones death. We need a release mechanism for those who’ve proven they deserve it!

Supporting @darrylrouson for Florida District 16 this fall!! It’s not too early to start researching candidates! If we want meaningful #criminaljusticereform in Florida we need to vote in the right candidates! ✊🏻
