@fnf2017 Brutal break but you could come back! Played a crib tourney last weekend needed 11 to win. Their crib, I held A, A, 2, 3, 5, 5 and figured throw the 5s because anything other than 5,6,7 gets me enough. 5 flips and I don’t plug enough. Lost one peg short.
@Neb_Golf_Pics Staying as close to I-80 as possible: Augusta winds, front 9 at Crandall Creek, Arnold GC (north of WH), Dannebrog, Aurora, Seward, Crete, Thorncreek (Milford)
@fnf2017@MidwestGolfJake Next time you come through Colorado, clear a day to venture down to 4 Mile Ranch. Engh greens that run much slower than modern greens but is a great example of why slower is sometimes (almost always) better
@the_mahon1@colinarmi@MidwestGolfJake Don’t sleep on the western Colorado golf either. There are some breathtaking places out there depending on where you stay.
@colinarmi@the_mahon1@MidwestGolfJake The fact you mentioned Lakeside is awesome. Would also recommend Pioneer in Lincoln for something different (no bunkers silly affordable), York CC, and Crandall Creek is worth a stop for a history convo with the owner. If you want to go further off 80 I can send you to some spots
@CJ_81 Depends on what you want to play, but for only 18 going from PD to MN I’d say try to get a last minute spot at Landmand (with backup plans) or do Iowa.
