Museveni’s criminal son, acting with his father’s full approval, has moved to silence Uganda’s remaining independent voices by shutting down @NTVUganda, @DailyMonitor, @DembeFM, and @SparkTV.
This is the hash reality we now face, a country under open military rule, where fear replaces law and force replaces accountability.
But history is clear. Dictators always escalate repression towards their fall, pressing every button in desperation, until they press the one they never expected to be their last.
Uganda will be free!
They treat us as subhuman.
They kill our people for fun
They rape our sisters and brothers.
They torture us on camera.
They abduct us without remorse.
They tear families apart.
They drive people into exile.
They push others to commit suicide.
They rig elections with impunity.
They mock us and post humiliating images of our comrades in captivity.
Then they ask us “What will you do about it?”
But when we remind them, that they too are mortal, and that pain has a way of returning to its source, they suddenly remember the language of ‘morality’.
Go and preach that fake morality to Yasin Kawuma’s mother.
Preach it to the children of Johnbosco Kibalama., Eddy Mutwe or Waiswa Mufumbiro.
Preach it to the family of John Ddamulira and to the countless other victims of the Museveni family.
Don’t try to weaponize ‘morality’ to shield injustice and brutality.
It won’t work with this generation!
Yes, we believe in morality, but silence in the face of injustice is not morality. It is complicity, it is hypocrisy!
Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and father-figures out there who show up and sacrifice unconditionally for the good of their families.
Fatherhood goes beyond just biology and providing. It is about nurturing character. It's about teaching humility, honour and respect for oneself and for others.
It's about raising children with values that will positively shape the society that their own children will inherit tomorrow.
As I grow older, I respect Mzee J. W. Ssentamu more, and yes, now I understand him even more. Happy Father’s Day.
Three days since his abduction near @NUP_Ug's former headquarters in Kamwokya on 17th June, comrade Andrew Natumanya 'Tabz' remains missing. Our teams are doing everything possible to locate him but no positive results so far. We continue to demand his immediate release, and remain committed to ending this impunity once and for all!
Uganda in 2026! Museveni's son just released a picture of his captive, Advocate Erias Lukwago. Blind folded! His crime? Attempting to serve him court summons! If he can do this to an outgoing Lord Mayor of Uganda's capital city, former MP, and senior lawyer, imagine what he does to our ordinary supporters who are abducted day in, day out. And yet Museveni still has the audacity to say anything about Idi Amin! The world must not look on. There will be accountability for these crimes against humanity. It's only a matter of time.
We had a productive conversation with members of the @NUP_Ug's Seattle Chapter in Washington State about the state and fate of our motherland, Uganda. Honored by the warm welcome we received, and the comrades’ resilient commitment to the struggle for freedom back home. We shall overcome!
I have received the sad news of the death of Ms. Sarah Nantumbwe (1st image), a wife to comrade John Ddamulira (2nd image) who was abducted from his spare parts shop in Kisekka Market in November 2020 and has never been seen again. She has died carrying the pain of not knowing what became of her husband, a pain that many families of our disappeared know far too well.
Ms. Nantumbwe's death has brought back memories of Ms. Monica Nabukenya (4th image), who also passed away just a few months ago in November 2025 after enduring a similar ordeal following the abduction of her husband, comrade Kibalama Johnbosco (3rd image), on Martyrs Day in June 2019. It's a pity that both ladies spent years hoping and searching for answers that never came!
May Ms. Nantumbwe rest in eternal peace.
Mrs. Nantumbwe Sarah Ddamulira was a wife to John Ddamulira, the @NUP_Ug supporter who was abducted from his shop at Kisekka market in 2020 and is missing to-date. Sadly, Sarah passed on this morning. Like other family members of those disappeared, Sarah has spent the last five years moving everywhere looking for her husband. It is most painful that she has passed on without finding any answers. Kitalo nnyo.
"We praise heroes everyday but there are those that we forget to praise: the women of this world.”- Lucky Dube. On this heroes day, my mind goes to these and and all women who are going through untold pain, fighting for a better Uganda. You’re my heroines. #GodBlessTheWoman
