personally, i don’t fw chris brown. i definitely felt immediate disappointment after seeing that insta story, but i think it’s worth pointing out that there is a real chance that they genuinely just don’t know. not everyone is knowledgeable about celebrity news/culture (especially celeb news from a country that is not their own??)

i need you to genuinely think about the people you are a fan of. you really think namseok doesn’t care about domestic violence/abuse? do you really think they’re background checking every single celebrity they come in contact with? you really think bts are looking up every artist before they listen to a song?

there’s this thing called being a casual listener, and it does not equal being a fan of someone. it’s very common for people to go to concerts of artists they aren’t even fans of, but just know their music and want to vibe.
