QB analysis can seem like voodoo sometimes and there are so many takes thrown around every day that I understand makes it hard to find what's informative. There's no perfect method and one size doesn't fit all, but there are some things I think are crucial to evaluating any snap of QB play because they are what directly affect processing and execution.

A good evaluation should include these four aspects of a snap in some form as context (shown below from my manual). I don't expect the 4 Visions to be included in any sane person's analysis, but If you really want the perfect breakdown of any snap, find or make one that includes the four stages of the QB's process on each snap. If an evaluation doesn't include any or all of this, it's not a big deal. Not everyone has to agree on everything and hostility benefits absolutely no one. We do not need football to become like politics.
