🟥 DEBUNK | President Trump Has NOT Been Hospitalized
Claims are circulating on X that President Donald Trump has been hospitalized at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center today.
These reports are FALSE.
✅ Independent journalist Andrew Leyden (@PenguinSix) went to the hospital on Saturday, April 4, 2026, around 1:50 p.m. Eastern Time. He observed no Marine One helicopter, no motorcade, and open roads with no unusual activity.
✅ White House Communications Director Steven Cheung stated that President Trump worked continuously at the White House and in the Oval Office throughout the Easter weekend.
The White House simply placed a "lid" at 11:08 a.m. today, meaning no further public appearances were scheduled. This routine measure appears to have sparked the speculation.
Neither the White House Press Office nor Walter Reed National Military Medical Center has issued any official statement confirming a presidential visit.
Origin : Rumors that Trump has been hospitalized at Walter Reed have been circulating since this morning there’s been no official confirmation, and no credible media outlet has reported anything. The White House has denied it. No reason to share.
Do not spread unverified claims. Always verify before sharing.
🧵 🇮🇷 Iran – 🇺🇸 United States | Situation Update – April 8, 2026
After more than a month of open conflict that began in late February, President Donald Trump announced on April 7 a 15-day bilateral ceasefire with Iran.
The deal includes the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian military coordination. In return, the United States has suspended all offensive operations. The agreement was approved by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
🇵🇰 Pakistan has been the key communication channel between Washington and Tehran since the conflict started. Islamabad will now host direct talks between US and Iranian delegations, beginning Friday, April 10.
📄 The negotiations are structured around a 10-point Iranian plan transmitted via Pakistan on April 6 described as “workable” by President Trump:
1️⃣ US guarantee of non-aggression + end to Israeli strikes
2️⃣ Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz with regulated, secure passage
3️⃣ Recognition of Iran’s right to a civilian nuclear program (no dismantling of capabilities)
4️⃣ Lifting of primary US sanctions
5️⃣ Removal of secondary sanctions on foreign companies
6️⃣ Cancellation of UN resolutions targeting Iran
7️⃣ End to IAEA measures and criticisms
8️⃣ Financial compensation for war damages
9️⃣ Withdrawal of US forces from the Gulf and broader Middle East
🔟 Regional ceasefire, including Lebanon and fronts involving Iran’s allies
➡️ In exchange, Iran commits to a full and durable reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
☢️ Major sticking point: The nuclear issue. Tehran demands recognition of its enrichment rights. Washington insists on strict limitations and a credible, reinforced inspection regime.
🇨🇳 China played a decisive, direct role far beyond standard diplomacy.
According to Iranian officials cited by the *New York Times* and confirmed by AP, Beijing intervened at the last minute on April 7, pressuring Tehran to accept the Pakistan-China framework after weeks of Iranian resistance.
How China applied pressure:
- Economic leverage: China buys ~80% of Iran’s oil exports. Beijing warned that prolonging the conflict risked this vital revenue stream through new US secondary sanctions and continued disruption of the Strait.
- Political pressure: A high-level call urged Iran to show “flexibility” and accept the joint plan to avoid catastrophic escalation. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei personally approved the deal afterward.
- Joint framework: Pakistan and China had presented a 5-point plan at the end of March (immediate ceasefire + reopening of Hormuz + negotiations).
Why China acted:
- Energy security: ~80% of China’s oil imports transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
- Positioning as a responsible stabilizing power in the Middle East (contrasted with the US).
- Pushing for a lasting ceasefire beyond the current 15-day window.
On the ground, the ceasefire is holding for now but remains fragile, with reports of missile alerts and residual strikes.
🧭Summary:
A limited but potentially pivotal diplomatic window.
Iran seeks long-term guarantees.
The US is testing a negotiation framework.
Pakistan structures the talks.
China delivered the decisive push using economic leverage.
The outcome will likely be decided in Islamabad over the next two weeks.

Iran 🇮🇷
