After losing my job eight months ago, I’ve been doing everything I can to keep up with rent and bills, but the overdue rent is now a challenge I can’t face alone. Your support can help me stay in my home and give me the breathing room to get back on my feet. If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing my story — every bit of help makes a difference. Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this tough time.https://t.co/5VGP4mrh2r venmo Jermaine-greaves and https://t.co/J93qZN5DEO
A million Black books. Locked behind a door that keeps getting broken into.
For over 50 years, 76 year old bookseller Baba Pepukayi has collected them…building by hand what should have existed all along: a home for our stories.
Now, after repeated break-ins, that home is at risk. Books that took a lifetime to gather could be gone in one night.
We're urgently raising £25,000 to secure the building — before the next break-in decides this for us.
This isn't a donation to a cause. It's a book, a name, a piece of history — staying where it belongs.
Please donate. Can't give? Share this. The right share reaches the right person.

You’re refused entry and told by security you need to book an appointment.
People with their belongings in suitcases and bags needing help as they have nowhere else to go told to go elsewhere.
Meanwhile staff who otherwise would see them are now ‘working from home’.

A Black woman named Isabel was sentenced to 6 years in a maximum security prison in Hong Kong because she reported her rapist.
Believe Black women.
Listen to, believe and support victims of abuse.
She deserves justice, this is so evil 🤬 this is why victims stay silent.
The pregnant woman attacked by settlers that night lost her unborn baby after the horror she endured ...
I don't know if that's her screaming but I'll never forget that sound
