@donanderson2567@HIGH_TIMES_Mag@JavierHasse We dont disagree with this approach! If they can treat it like medical marijuana and let the states make their own laws on it, we would be happy with that as well.
@donanderson2567@HIGH_TIMES_Mag@JavierHasse I hear you there- but people have exploited the plant, made products that are unsafe with additives & poor manufacturing practices. We want hemp, but we want safe hemp & regulations can help protect that on a large scale. We agree people should be able to grow their own though💯
365 days isn’t a countdown to the end, it’s our window to fix what bad actors broke. Our founder is already working with legislators & lobbyists to push real regulation forward. If lawmakers choose regulation over prohibition, safe, compliant hemp businesses like ours can survive
🚨Most hemp products are now on a 365-day path back to Schedule I.
Trump signed the shutdown deal, and the hemp ban inside it is now law.
What happens next?

@ScottPresler As a Veteran-Owned, compliant hemp retailer, it’s frustrating to see responsible businesses like ours punished because gas stations and smoke shops ignored safety & big alcohol was greedy. Regulation—not a ban—was the solution.
@PushPressureTM @WeLoveYouEnvy@Kotsu420 Consulting our Dept. Of Ag for approval etc.) We know its not perfect, but we are striving towards that while we await adult use in PA and hopefully the opportunity to pursue that or at least recieve regulations around our current inventory! Thank you for what you're doing 🙏
@PushPressureTM @WeLoveYouEnvy@Kotsu420 But do have some quality assurance practices that we follow that stand out from other shops "like ours" in our market (such as only working with companies that have a valid production/processing/cultivation license, working direct with vendor rather than distribution companies..
@two3king@minneappleis@TheDankInformer I never said it didn't have to pass Trent...I said its not required to SHOW them. Its not on the seed to sale label on products, & its not listed on dispensary websites for the patients to see either. Its in the MJ freeway back end, not displayed for patients.
@minneappleis@TheDankInformer@two3king Tbh it is not always provided to us. When it is, we have it on hand, printed out in-store. We TRULY wish they provided us with this consistently. PA MMJ products are not required to show those test results either though...just cannabinoids and terps.
@jrzygrl719@TheDankInformer Thank you, and we couldn't agree more. We have been asking, pleading for regulation in the PA hemp market with the Dept of Ag, to no avail. Rec was always our aspiration for our business, & we are actively working with reps and senators to get PA there. We aren't the bad guys.
@TheDankInformer Per our COAs they're legal, Per a flower COA done by someone who has a problem with our business... its not. We've got nothing to hide- we stand by being as compliant as possible/ is required in everything we do.
@TheDankInformer@EL_DEE420 We recieve a printed COA, and have them on hand in our facilities. Our online menu does not allow us to upload a pdf as image, so we have to take a screenshot to upload as a .jpg. Many of our customers didn't know what a COA was until they shopped with us- which is a problem.
@EL_DEE420@TheDankInformer Im also not convinced that our product wasn't altered / mishandled prior to being taken to the lab. We aren't just a rinky dink smoke shop, we are canna-industry professionals with over 20 years combined experience in rec and med cannabis, doing the best we can until PA goes AU.
Thanks to @AlliedNewsPA for the coverage of our opening! >> New store hoping to soothe, help with hemp-derived products #BlackBearHempPA
