Last time I’ll be using @Deliveroo - absolutely terrible customer service. Order should not take 90 minutes with no real update and then to be compensated 0.96p - mind blowing
The death toll in Gaza has now exceeded 10,000 people, nearly half of which are children, and tens of thousands have been injured.
Hospitals have been bombed, meaning many of those injured lack access to care.
This must end.
#CeasefireNOW
No government anywhere has a right to commit a genocide, ever.
There is no justification for a genocide.
I can’t believe this even needs to be said or is even considered the least bit controversial to state.
Enough!
It is just horror after horror after horror.
Remember these precious and beautiful lives. They are human beings with names and faces. And they are being indiscriminately slaughtered.
What unconscionable inhumanity. We need a ceasefire, now.
Today, I am thinking of human beings in Gaza buried under the rubble.
I am thinking of their joys, dreams, hopes & fears.
I wonder, if the dust ever settles, whether opponents of a ceasefire will look back and reflect on the cost of their inhumanity.
We need a ceasefire, now.
🚨 Hi @elonmusk, as the man behind the MOST VIRAL account on X this month, I am inviting you to do an interview with me about Palestine & #StarLinkForGaza, the Ukraine War & the future of X (live-streaming in particular).
Everyone please retweet if you want to see this happen!
It’s not anti-Semitic to criticize the Israeli government.
It’s not anti-Semitic to put the current conflict in historical context.
It’s not anti-Semitic to mourn the death of Palestinian civilians.
But if you describe the slaughter of 1,400 civilians as “military action” or call for a ceasefire without mentioning the toddlers who are still in the clutches of a terrorist organization, people will rightly wonder why you don’t seem to give a single shit about the lives of innocent Jews.
Two million people. Half children. Starved. Bombed. Cut from communication.
Have those facilitating this thought much about the future this leaves us? No.
Some may dismiss a ceasefire as naïve or worse. Yet who has a plan for what follows this destruction? What do we call that?
